The Band's Wager Poster
School Project — 2024
This project was a reimagined movie poster created in Photoshop as part of a class assignment. The original concept, The King’s Wager, featured medieval elements like a sword, a king, queen, and knight. For my alternate version, I transformed the theme into a music-centered story by replacing the sword with a guitar and the characters with musicians. A figure in the background with an emotional expression was included to suggest underlying drama in the narrative.

Reflection
While I’m happy with the outcome, there are a few changes I would make in the future:
• Soften the spotlight effect in the corner to prevent it from pulling too much attention.
• Adjust the smoke on the right side to a less contrasting shade for better balance.
• Consider replacing the guitar with another instrument that better fits the orchestral theme.
This project gave me valuable practice in visual storytelling, Photoshop techniques, and creative reinterpretation of existing concepts.
