Car Magazine
School Project — 2024
This project was completed early in my graphic design coursework while learning Photoshop. The goal was to design a magazine cover using provided assets and practice editing techniques. I edited the background with a warped tire texture and a darker tone to make the car and other elements stand out. The car image itself was carefully retouched, removing reflections and small details for a cleaner look.
Skills & Tools Used
• Adobe Photoshop for all photo editing and layout
• Background manipulation using textures and tonal adjustments
• Image retouching to remove unwanted reflections and details
• Text placement and alignment for magazine-style formatting

Reflection
This project gave me early experience in Photoshop, particularly with image editing and layout for a magazine-style design. If I revisited the project, I would choose stronger fonts to improve hierarchy and readability, remove the unrealistic sky reflection from the car, and adjust the section titles in the top-right corner to make them more distinct and separated. Overall, this project strengthened my skills in photo retouching, background manipulation, and creating designs that highlight key visual elements.
